This week we are heading from the seasons and nature to a more people related theme: romance : ) I am not a very romantic person, but my boyfriend is, and I love him to bits, so I thought it would be fitting to do a frilly, romantic theme <3

Welkom bij het volgende deel van de ‘Inspirational Hexies’ blogserie! Als je de post van vorige week met het herfst-thema hebt gemist, kan je die hier vinden. Deze week gaan we van de seizoenen en de natuur naar een meer mens-gerelateerd thema: romantiek : ) Ik ben zelf niet echt een romantisch  persoon, maar mijn vriend wel en ik hou heel veel van hem, dus ik vond het wel toepasselijk om toch een romantisch thema te doen <3 

Moodboard / Inspiratiebord

For the moodboard I used magazine cut-outs, a lot of lace and ribbon, some shade cards and some Catona Cutie Pies* and Stone Washed balls from the Colour Pack*.

Voor het sfeerbord heb ik magazine plaatjes gebruikt, heel veel kant en lint, wat staalkaartjes en wat Catona Cutie Pies* en Stone Washed bolletjes van de Colour Pack*.  

I also used a handmade rose made out of ribbon my boyfriend made himself for our first anniversary *swoon* I think I will keep it until it really falls apart <3

Ik gebruikte ook nog een handgemaakte roos van lint die mijn vriend zelf heeft gemaakt toen we een jaar bij elkaar waren *zwijmel* Ik denk dat ik hem houd totdat hij echt uit elkaar valt <3 

The hexie / De hexie

For this romantic ‘Inspirational Hexie’ I have used an image of a wedding dress. I have decided that when we get married, my dress will be made out of lace, just like this one. For the yarn I used 9 rounds of different colors of Catona Cutie Pies from my Scheepjes Studio Pack*. You can find the used colors below.

Voor deze romantische ‘Inspirational Hexie’ heb ik gekozen voor een plaatje van een trouwjurk. Ik heb al bedacht dat wanneer we gaan trouwen, mijn jurk van kant is, net zoals deze. Ik heb 9 rondes verschillende kleuren Catona Cutie Pies gebruikt uit mijn Scheepjes Studio Pack*. Je kunt de gebruikte kleuren hieronder vinden. 

What colors do you think of when you think of romantic things? Red of roses, or maybe pink or white for a wedding? You can use my colors, or come up with your own colorway. You can find the pattern of this hexie here. Don’t forget to show me your color combination on social media, using #inspirationalhexies, because I’d love to see it!

Welke kleuren vind jij romantisch? Denk je aan rood van rozen, of misschien eerder roze of wit voor een trouwerij? Gebruik mijn kleuren, of bedenk je eigen kleurenschema. Je kunt het patroon voor deze hexie hier vinden. Deel vooral ook je eigen kleurencombinaties op social media met #inspirationalhexies, want dat vind ik super leuk om te zien!
