When there are whole hexies, there are also half hexies. At least when you want to have some sort of straight side edge on your Inspirational Hexies blanket : ) So the fun with choosing colors continues for a little longer! I have made six extra hexies that fill up the sides of the blanket nicely. Just like the whole hexies you can choose which stitch and border to use.

Waar er hele hexies zijn, zijn ook halve hexies. Tenminste, als je een beetje rechte zijkanten wilt hebben voor je Inspirational Hexies deken : ) Dus gaan we nog even door met kleurtjes uitzoeken! Als je nog niks hebt gelezen over deze deken, dan kan je alle posts over de Inspirational Hexies hier vinden. 

Ik heb zes extra hexies gemaakt die de zijkanten van de deken mooi opvullen. Net als de complete hexies kan je kiezen welke steek en welke rand je wilt gebruiken. 

The Hexies

I really wanted a pastel rainbow one, because it makes me so happy <3

Ik wilde sowieso nog een hexie in pastel regenboog-kleur, want die combinatie maakt me altijd zo blij <3 

I was also still inspired by the trees and forests, because of the History of Trees shawl CAL I did, so another tree-inspired hexie was in order : )

Ik was ook nog steeds geinspireerd door bomen en bossen door de History of Trees shawl CAL die ik heb gehouden, dus ik heb lekker nog een bomen-geinspireerde hexie gemaakt : ) 

I also wanted a really blue hexie, because I had a lot of blue left from the Stone Washed Colour Pack* and all the blues were screaming: *Pick me, pick me*, so that’s what I did.

Ik wilde ook nog een blauwe hexie, want ik had erg veel blauw over van de Stone Washed Colour Pack* en al die blauwtinten schreeuwden: *kies mij, kies mij*, dus dat is wat ik deed.

One thing I like about our garden are the hydrangea bushes. They shift in color from one day to the next and the depth of color is just amazing <3

Iets wat ik erg mooi vind aan onze tuin zijn de hortensia’s. Elke dag hebben ze wel weer een andere kleur en die kleurdiepte is gewoon prachtig <3

I will never grow tired from cloudwatching, so another sky-inspired hexie had to be made : )

Ik zal de wolken nooit saai gaan vinden, en zo kwam er dus nog een lucht-geinspireerde hexie bij : ) 

And last but not least this additional ‘bouquet’ hexie. I felt that the colors on the board fitted so well together that I used those for my last half hexie.

En als laatste deze extra ‘bouquet‘ geinspireerde hexie. Ik vond de kleuren op het bord zo mooi bij elkaar passen, dat ik die heb gebruikt voor de laatste halve hexie.
