I meant to write this post much sooner, but as I’m sure you can relate to, life got in the way of my blogging plans.
There is a CAL (Crochet-A-Long) going on with my Hotel of Bees shawl, hosted by Sandra from Cherry Heart and Samantha from Betsy Makes. These two talented ladies fell in love with the design and wanted to do a CAL with it. I was super flattered when they asked if that was okay and of course I said yes!
There are a lot of participants and since the start I have seen amazing creations made with my pattern. I’ll make sure to do a round up post when the CAL is over, because all the different versions are too stunning not to share!

Ik was van plan om al veel eerder een blogpost te schrijven, maar zoals je ongetwijfeld ook wel eens hebt, zat het leven me een beetje in de weg van mijn blog plannen, haha.
Er is een CAL (Crochet-A-Long, of Haak-A-Long) gaande met mijn Hotel of Bees Shawl, welke wordt gehost door Sandra van Cherry Heart en Samantha van Betsy Makes. Deze twee getalenteerde dames werden verliefd op mijn design en wilden graag een CAL organiseren. Ik was helemaal ondersteboven toen ze vroegen of dat mocht en natuurlijk zij ik ja!
Er doen ontzettend veel mensen mee en sinds het is begonnen heb ik de mooiste creaties voorbij zien komen. Ik ga ook nog een blogpost maken als de CAL over is, want al die verschillende versies zijn gewoon te mooi om niet te delen!
The CAL runs until the 31st of May on the Cherry Heart Ravelry Forum. The people there are really helpful and nice to each other and I will be there too, to help anyone who has a question. People are still starting, so it’s not too late to join the fun 🙂

De CAL loopt nog tot 31 mei op het Cherry Heart Ravelry Forum. De mensen daar zijn echt super behulpzaam en aardig. Ik ben daar ook te vinden, om te helpen met iedereen die een vraag heeft. Er zijn nog steeds mensen die beginnen, dus het is nog niet te laat om mee te doen 🙂

In other news…
My school year is almost over and I’m looking forward to a nice long summer to work on all the things that are put on hold right now, because of my study. It has been a while since my Picking Flowers Sweater was published and since then it has been silent over here, hasn’t it?
That doesn’t mean that I’m not working on anything new! I am currently working on three different designs and I can’t show any of them yet.
So what can I tell you?
I can tell you that one of them will be part of the Read-With-Me Collection. It’s really big and I’ve been working on it since March 2016. Yes, that’s how long I’ve already kept it from you. It won’t be ready any time soon, so it will still remain a big mystery for now.
Another design is also for the Read-With-Me Collection. This also will still remain a big mystery until I have a good sense of when I will finish it.
The last design is the most mysterious, because it currently only consists of a sketch and a lot of swatches. The most exciting about this design is that I will not be the one to publish it 😀 Now isn’t that some thrilling news 🙂
I’m super excited about these new designs and I am really anxious to show you. I guess we all have to be patient a while longer.
En nu wat ander nieuws…
Mijn schooljaar is bijna over en ik kijk echt uit naar een lange zomer waarin ik kan werken aan alle dingen die nu op pauze staan door mijn studie. Het is al weer een tijd geleden dat ik de Picking Flowers trui heb gepubliceerd en sindsdien is het nogal stil geweest, of niet?
Dat betekent natuurlijk niet dat er niks nieuws aan komt! Ik ben op dit moment bezig met drie verschillende ontwerpen en ik kan je nog geen een laten zien.
Dus wat kan ik je dan wel vertellen?
Ik kan je vertellen dat een van de ontwerpen onderdeel zal zijn van de Read-With-Me Collectie. Het is een heel groot ontwerp en ik ben er al mee bezig sinds maart 2016. Ja, dat is hoe lang ik dit al verborgen heb gehouden. Het is nog lang niet klaar, dus het blijft voor nu nog een groot mysterie.
Een ander ontwerp is ook voor de Read-With-Me collectie. Deze blijft ook een mysterie totdat ik weet wanneer hij klaar zal zijn.
Het laatste ontwerp is de meest mysterieuze, want daarvoor heb ik alleen nog maar een schets en wat proeflapjes. Het meest opwindende van dit ontwerp is dat ik niet degene zal zijn die deze gaat publiceren 😀 Nou, is dat geen spannend nieuws 🙂
Mijn handen jeuken om je alle nieuwe ontwerpen te laten zien. Ik denk dat wel allemaal nog maar wat langer geduldig moeten zijn.
