Hello crochet friend!
I am popping on the blog real quick, because it is HOT here in The Netherlands and I’d rather sit outside in the shade than pent up in my stuffy craft room, haha. I personally crochet in all seasons, not just the colder ones, but I can get that crocheting is furthest from your mind right now, if you are experiencing the same temperatures. My little laptop is huffing and puffing and having none of it, so let’s make this short!

Ik kom even snel op de blog, want het is HEET hier en ik zit liever buiten in de schaduw dan hier opgesloten in mijn stoffige hobbykamer, haha. Ik haak persoonlijk in alle seizoenen, maar ik kan me voorstellen dat haken op dit moment het laatste is waar je aan denkt. Mijn laptop is aan het puffen en blazen en heeft er ook geen zin in dus laten we het kort houden.

She has created full step-by-step videos for the Hotel of Bees shawl you can crochet along to! So all you need is being able to wield a crochet hook and the right yarn (see yarn requirements below) <3

Als je de laatste blogposts hebt gemist, ik ben gaan samenwerken met Christina Burns van Crafted by Chrissie. (lees hier het hele verhaal). Ze heeft stapsgewijze video’s gemaakt voor de Hotel of Bees shawl, zodat je met haar mee kunt haken! Dus het enige wat je nodig hebt is het kunnen vasthouden van een haaknaald en het juiste garen (zie hieronder alle benodigdheden).
En het allermooiste: de video’s zijn helemaal gratis! (aangeboden in engels US terminologie)

If you still need supplies, here’s how to get them 
You can find a complete list of supplies on the Ravelry or Etsy page.
You will need (Scheepjes Stone Washed, 50g/130m*):
- 3 balls Yellow Jasper (809) or 130 g/340 m (370 yds) of a similar yarn
- 3 balls Moon Stone (801) or 119 g/310 m (339 yds) of a similar yarn
- 1 ball Crystal Quartz ((814) or 34 g/89 m (97 yds) of a similar yarn
