Isn’t it time for a new CAL? I thought so. Crochet A Long with me using the Shell Collector pattern!

Is het niet tijd voor een nieuwe CAL (Crochet A Long)? Dat dacht ik wel. Haak met me mee met het Shell Collector patroon!  

CAL Info

What / Wat: 

I have worked on CAL exclusive instructions to work the pattern into a blanket! This way you will have three options to choose from: A big wrap, an airy cowl or a snugly blanket <3

• All pattern info like yarn amounts of the wrap and cowl can be found on this page.
• When you purchase the pattern, it will already contain the wrap and cowl instructions. The blanket instructions will be posted at the start of the CAL in the CAL group (see info under ‘where’)
• The cowl version uses Scheepjes Alpaca Rhythm yarn*
• The big wrap version and the blanket version both use Scheepjes Stone Washed yarn*
• The blanket version will be 150 cm/60″ wide and 170 cm/68″ long.
• The yarn requirements for the blanket will be about two times as much as for the wrap version.
• If you want to make the blanket longer than 170cm/68″ you will need more of color A, next to the double amount of yarn. To give you an idea: one ball of color A will give you about 5 rows extra in the filet crochet section (using the same gauge as pattern).
• if you want to crochet a border around the blanket, you will also need more yarn.

Ik ben bezig geweest om speciaal en exclusief voor de CAL instructies te schrijven om het patroon om te zetten naar een deken! Hierdoor heb je drie opties om van te kiezen: Een grote omslagdoek, een luchtige kol of een heerlijke deken <3

• Alle patrooninfo zoals garenhoeveelheden van de omslagdoek en kol kan je hier vinden.
• Als je het patroon koopt, zal deze al de instructies bevatten voor de omslagdoek en kol. De dekeninstructies zullen gepost worden aan de start van de CAL in de CAL groep (zie info onder ‘waar’) 
• De kol versie gebruikt Scheepjes Alpaca Rhythm garen*
• De grote omslagdoek versie en de deken versie gebruiken allebei Scheepjes Stone Washed garen*
• De deken zal ongeveer 150 cm breed en 170 cm lang worden. 
• De garenbenodigdheden voor de deken is ongeveer twee keer zo veel als voor de omslagdoek.
• Als je de deken ook nog langer wilt maken dan 170 cm, dan heb je naast de dubbele hoeveelheid nog meer van kleur A nodig. Om een idee te geven: een bol van kleur A geeft je ongeveer 5 rijen extra in de filet gehaakte sectie (als je dezelfde stekenverhouding gebruikt). 
• Als je ook nog een rand om de deken wilt haken, heb je ook meer garen nodig. 

When / Wanneer:

The CAL will start in two weeks, so you have time to collect all of your yarn and notions. Maybe even buy ‘the shell collector‘ book that inspired this design? It’s a design from the Read With Me Collection after all, so maybe we can just as well read together too ^^ Anyway, the CAL will run for 8 weeks from Monday the 16th of April until Monday the 4th of June, so plenty of time to crochet and maybe read the book.

De CAL start over twee weken, zodat je genoeg tijd hebt om al je garen en andere benodigdheden bij elkaar te zoeken. Misschien koop je ook nog wel het ‘Shell Collector‘ boek die dit ontwerp heeft geinspireerd? Het is nog altijd een ontwerp van de Read With Me Collection, dus kunnen we misschien wel net zo goed samen lezen ^^ Maargoed, de CAL loopt voor 8 weken van Maandag 16 april tot maandag 4 juni, dus genoeg tijd om te haken en misschien het boek te lezen.  

Where / Waar:

The CAL will be hosted in my facebook group called A Spoonful of Yarnies. It’s a closed group, but just ask to join and I will accept you. Everyone can share their progress and ask and answer questions there.

De CAL zal worden gehouden in mijn facebook groep, genaamd A Spoonful of Yarnies. Het is een gesloten groep, maar als je even vraagt om toegevoegd te worden, zal ik je accepteren. Iedereen kan daar zijn voortgang delen en ook vragen stellen en beantwoorden.
