Crochet Inspiration Board / Haakinspiratie Bord

In the last year or so I see a lot of crochet sampler shawls pop up on Ravelry and in crochet groups. They have a lot in common: made in a gradient yarn, triangular, worked in sections that are marked off with a ridge or special stitch, and they use different stitches throughout. I really like the idea of a sectional shawl, because it keeps the crochet work fun. I myself have used sections for a lot of my designs too, like the Hotel of Bees shawl, the Shell Collector Wrap and the History of Trees shawl. Below I have made a collage of some of my favorite sectional shawls.

Het laatste jaar zie ik erg veel gehaakte sampler shawls op Ravelry en in haakgroepen voorbij komen. Ze hebben vaak veel gemeen: ze worden gemaakt met kleurverloop garen, ze zijn driehoekig, de secties worden afgescheiden met een opstaande rand of andere speciale steek en er worden veel verschillende steken in gebruikt. Ik vind het idee van een shawl met secties erg leuk, omdat het het haken ervan leuk houdt. Ik heb zelf ook best wel wat shawls met secties erin gemaakt, zoals de Hotel of Bees shawl, de Shell Collector Wrap en de History of Trees shawl. Hieronder heb ik een collage gemaakt van een paar van mijn favoriete shawls die met secties werken.
