Like I said in last weeks post, I hoped to tell more about my new crochet design. As you might guess from the title I am working on a shawl!

Zoals ik zei in de blogpost van vorige week, hoopte ik snel meer te vertellen over mijn nieuwe ontwerp. Misschien heb je al geraden door de titel dat ik een sjaal aan het maken ben!  

Do you see how everything is cast in blue light in Winter, but how it shifts to green when Spring arrives? <3 That is exactly what this shawl is inspired on: when the trees grow new leaves at the start of Spring.  Accompanied by a poem about this shifting of the seasons, the pattern will be part of the Poetry Collection. And best of all: it will be published for free on my blog : )

Weet je hoe alles in een blauw licht baadt in de winter, maar dat het verschuift naar groen wanneer de lente aanbreekt? <3 Dat is precies waar de sjaal op is geinspireerd: wanneer bomen nieuwe blaadjes krijgen aan het begin van de lente.  Samen met een gedicht over het verschuiven van deze seizoenen, wordt het patroon onderdeel van de Poetry Collectie. En goed nieuws: het patroon zet ik helemaal gratis op mijn blog : ) 

The shawl will be very simple with a leaf-inspired filet crochet pattern. De sjaal is een erg simpel ontwerp met een filet-gehaakt blaadjes patroon.   • Could you give us a hint as to how many skeins of the yarn you used so we (I) can be ready when the pattern comes out since I have to ordered it from overseas? Thank you so much.
