After my yarn and WIP post, I can finally show you my new design: the Blooming Moss Scarf!
Na mijn garen en WIP blogpost kan ik je eindelijk mijn nieuwste ontwerp laten zien: de Blooming Moss Scarf!

The scarf is inspired by the stems and spore pods of moss. I tried to mimic these elements by using front post stitches and small popcorn stitches on a background of moss-stitch. To make it a little bit more light weight, I used chain-2 between the sc, instead of chain-1. This gives it a beautiful drape <3
De sjaal is geïnspireerd op de stelen en sporendozen van het mos. Ik heb geprobeerd deze elementen na te maken met reliëf steken en kleine popcorn steken tegen een achtergrond van mos-steek. Om het een beetje luchtiger te maken, heb ik 2lossen tussen de vasten gehaakt in plaats van 1losse. Hierdoor valt de sjaal ook erg mooi.

Somehow this scarf called for a ribbed border. The border is crocheted as you go, so you don’t have to be afraid it has to be made afterwards : )
Op een of andere manier vroeg deze sjaal om een geribbelde rand. De rand wordt gehaakt terwijl je de rest van de sjaal ook haakt, dus je hoeft niet bang te zijn dat je die er achteraf nog aan moet haken : )

Door het herhaal-patroon kun je hem zo lang maken als je wil <3

The (free!) pattern is made up of written instructions with a few tutorial photos to help you along the way. It will be released in English (US terms) and Dutch.
Het (gratis!) patroon komt in de vorm van geschreven instructies met een aantal tutorial foto’s om je op weg te helpen. Hij wordt uitgegeven in het Engels (US terminologie) en Nederlands.
