The new YARN is out! A bookazine full with wonderful and creative patterns <3 The theme for this issue is REEF and designers have made amazing contributions inspired by that theme.
What I like about YARN is that it’s always a single theme that is displayed with such a modern feel and out-of-the-box styling <3 I love it!

Like this necklace Carmen from New Leaf Design made! What an eyecatcher.

De nieuwe YARN is uit! Een bookazine vol met prachtige en creatieve patronen <3 Het thema voor deze editie is REEF (rif) en ontwerpers in dit bookazine hebben een geweldige bijdrage geleverd geïnspireerd door dit thema. Wat ik zo mooi vind aan YARN is dat het altijd één thema is die wordt weergegeven met zo’n moderne en out-of-the-box styling <3 Ik hou ervan! 

Een mooi voorbeeld hiervan is de ketting die Carmen van New Leaf Designs heeft ontworpen. Wat een blikvanger! 

Another pink example of a stunning design are these lovely Sea Urchin Cushions by Jellina from Jellina Creations. I would put them on my sofa in a heartbeat : )

Nog een mooi roze voorbeeld is het ontwerp van deze leuke Zee-egel geïnspireerde kussens van Jellina van Jellina Creations. Ik zou ze zo op mijn eigen bank leggen : ) 

I loooove ocean themed crochet, so I really wanted to contribute a design to this issue and so I did with my Jellyfish Top.

Ik hou echt heel veel van oceaan geïnspireerde thema’s dus ik wilde heel graag een bijdrage leveren aan deze YARN en dat heb ik dus ook gedaan met mijn Jellyfish Top. 

My top is inspired by jellyfish and with that in mind I envisioned flowing lines, pleats and delicate lace.

Mijn top is geïnspireerd op kwallen en met deze wezens in mijn achterhoofd zag ik vloeiende lijnen, plooien en verfijnd kant. 

The top is made seamlessly and starts with the back lace panel which represent little jellyfish. The pleats are created by a simple increase of stitches, creating extra fabric that flows outwards.

De top wordt naadloos gehaakt en start met het kanten achterpand die kleine kwalletjes moeten voorstellen. De plooien worden eenvoudig gecreëerd door het meerderen van steken, waardoor er extra stof ontstaat wat naar buiten toe vloeit. 

The back lace panel is worked in rows and does not require special stitches. A crochet diagram of this lace is also included to support you.

De kanten achterkant wordt in rijen gehaakt met simpele steken. Een haakdiagram hiervan is ook toegevoegd in het patroon om je te helpen.
