I am so happy I can finally reveal my new design for the Read With Me CAL: The History of Bees shawl : D

Ik ben zo blij dat ik eindelijk mijn nieuwe ontwerp kan laten zien voor de Read With Me CAL: de History of Bees shawl : D 

I asked you if you could guess the book for this years CAL and I enjoyed hearing your book suggestions on social media : ) But none of you guessed the right book!
The shawl is inspired by the book of the same name, ‘The history of Bees’ by Maya Lunde <3 A book containing three interconnected stories revolving around the bee theme. During the CAL we will crochet our way through all three stories.

Vorige week vroeg ik je of je het boek kon raden voor de CAL van dit jaar en ik heb erg genoten van jullie boekensuggesties op Social media : ) Maar niemand heeft het goed geraden!
De shawl is geïnspireerd op het boek ‘De geschiedenis van de bijen’ door Maya Lunde <3 Een boek met drie verhalen die allemaal op een of andere manier verbonden zijn en die ook allemaal rond het bijenthema geschreven zijn. Tijdens de CAL zullen we onze weg haken door alle drie de verhalen. 

The yarn I used is the newly released Scheepjes Metropolis* yarn, a soft fingering weight merino wool which crochets like a dream <3
There will be yarn packs available next week in several colorways : )

Het garen wat ik heb gebruikt is het nieuw uitgekomen Scheepjes Metropolis* garen, een zacht Merino wollen draadje die echt heerlijk haakt <3
Er zullen volgende week garen pakketten te bestellen zijn met verschillende kleurencombinaties : ) 

I hope you like this design? It’s only the second time for me that I designed a symmetrical triangular shawl, but I like it very much : ) All info about the CAL, pattern and yarn will be published next Saturday. Ik hoop dat je het ontwerp mooi vindt?
