I have teamed up with You.Make for their annual crochet summit! During this digital video event you get to follow the crochet tutorials of 18 teachers (including me) over the course of five days! And ALL of that for FREE!

How does it work?

Every day there are new video lessons. You can find all the lessons day-by-day through this link*. For 24 hours you can watch as many times as you like. If you need more time, you can purchase a VIP access pass. This will grant you UNLIMITED access to ALL videos and accompanying PDFs.

Classes range from crocheting a hat, clothing, home accesories or how to achieve perfect gauge, to name a few examples. The classes offer something for everyone!

Hoe werkt het?

Elke dag komen er nieuwe video lessen online. Je kunt alle lessen dag-voor-dag vinden via deze link*. Voor 24 uur kun je de lessen van de betreffende dag zo vaak als je wilt bekijken. Als je meer tijd nodig hebt, kan je een VIP pas aanschaffen. Daarmee heb je ONBEPERKT toegang tot ALLE video’s en bijbehorende PDF’s.

De lessen omvatten gehaakte hoofdaccessoires, kleding, huisdecoratie of hoe je de perfecte stekenverhouding krijgt, om maar wat voorbeelden te noemen. De lessen bieden dus iets voor iedereen!

About my class on ‘How to think like a crochet designer’

Next to the 20 other classes you can follow, I will teach you how to think like a crochet designer on DAY 1 of the summit (Monday Nov 6). What does that mean? In my class you will learn:

• Where to get the most original design inspiration
• How to translate your inspiration into shapes and design sketches
• How to make a moodboard that fits your design idea
• How to swatch and determine a pattern repeat to use as the basis for your crochet design

And to top it all off, you will also receive a free cheat sheet full of all of the tips from the class! At the end of it you will be able to think just like a professional crochet designer. Now isn’t that awesome 😀

Over mijn les ‘How to think like a crochet designer’

Naast de 20 andere lessen die je kunt volgen, leer ik je in mijn les om te denken als een haakontwerper op DAG 1 van de summit (maandag 6 nov). Wat betekent dat eigenlijk? In mijn les leer je:

• Waar je de meest originele design inspiratie vandaan haalt
• Hoe je deze inspiratie naar vormen en ontwerpen vertaalt met schetsen
• Hoe je een moodboard maakt passend bij je ontwerp idee
• Hoe je een proeflapje maakt en de patroonherhaling bepaalt wat de basis is voor je haakontwerp

En daarbovenop krijg je ook nog een gratis ‘cheat sheet’ vol met alle tips van mijn les! Na mijn les zul je in staat zijn net als een professionele haakontwerper te denken. Is dat niet cool 😀
